- July 2008 – Composition commission from Footfalls Echo @ Belsay dance project directed by Tim Rubidge with Arts Council England
- June 2008 – Graduation from University of Newcastle upon Tyne with B. Mus (Hons) Folk and Traditional Music
- June 2007 – Joined the National Community Outreach Scheme, Live Music Now! Bringing music into diverse venues including schools, day centres, care homes and prisons and working with special needs children, the elderly and prisoners.
